Bid Spec Tab
The Bid Specifications tab is used only in bidding as part of the requirements relayed to Vendors for the specified item. This is the first step in the bidding process. All item information specific to your district's needs is contained here. If your district will be using approved brand names for bids, those brand names must be entered on this tab in order for them to appear on any reports.
Specifications
This section lets you enter specifications that will print on the actual bid document for each item. It also gives you a way to clarify to the bidders what you are specifically looking for.
Approved Brands
List all brands approved for this item, separating brands with semicolons. This field is limited to 255 characters.
Internal Notes
Enter any internal notes regarding this item. This information will not be printed on any reports. This field is limited to 255 characters.
