Find/Replace Menu Plan Item

Find/Replace Menu Plan Item can be used to replace an item that exists on some or all menu plans for a specific period.

Site/Site Groups
You can either search for a menu plan at a particular site or within a group of sites. Select the appropriate radio button at the top of the screen, then choose an option (a school or a site group) from the corresponding drop-down menu.

Menu Plan Date Range
Select the date range of the menu plans for which you want to replace an item.

Menu Type
Select the menu type on which the item appears or select All.

Cycle Name
If the item appears on a specific cycle, you can specify that here.

Replace Original Item with New Item
In these fields, enter the item ID or description of the item that is to be replaced on the left.

Enter the item ID or description of the item that is replacing the original item on the right. If you enter the description, click on the magnifying glass to look up the item.

Search

After defining your criteria, click Search to view a list of any menu plans that contain the original item and match your search criteria. The Current Item column shows the description, quantity, and unit of measure for the original item as it appears on each menu plan. The New Item column shows the description of the new item and enables you to select the quantity and unit for the new item. Click the Replace link to replace the item on a single menu plan, or use the Replace All button to replace the item on all menu plans in the list.
