Menu Plan Export

The Menu Plan Export page allows you to export menu plans to Excel. This is useful for data analysis as well as for importing menu plans into an online menu provider.

To export menu plans, first search for the menu plans you would like to export to Excel. You can search by individual sites or by site groups, or select All under "Sites" to search all available sites. The Menu Plan Date Range searches for menu plans based on their assigned dates. Menu Type lets you filter results by the menu type, such as Breakfast or Lunch Elementary. Stage lets you filter results by the stage of the menu plan, such as Planning Complete or Generating Orders. Cycle Name lets you filter your results based on whether the menu plan appears in the specified menu cycle. After entering your criteria, click Search.

Note: Clicking Export before generating a list with Search will produce a blank spreadsheet.

The search results generate in a list below the Search pane. Use the checkboxes on the left of the list to select which menu plans will appear on the exported spreadsheet, or click the top checkbox to select all of the menu plans. Use the Include items without planned quantity checkbox to toggle whether to include items from menu plans that do not have a quantity listed.

To export the list of menu plans to an Excel spreadsheet, click Export.

You may be prompted by your browser to choose how to view or download the file. This prompt may look different depending on the browser you are using.
