Household Matching
The Household Matching utility allows you to generate a worklist of students in which a DC student is listed or meal benefit statuses differ among household members. Once the list has been generated, you may select a student and work through extending the "best" status to others in the household. You may also choose to run the Households with Benefits Differences report.
From the Utilities tab, select Household Matching.
Select Generate New List.
Establish worklist criteria. Then, click Ok.
Household Matching Criteria - Select which criteria to use when matching DC siblings to non-DC siblings.
Household Filter - Select which filter to apply when generating the list.
Difference Filter - Select which difference to search for when generating the list.
Options - Select one or more options to include when generating the list.
Select a matched record and click Review Selected Household or double-click on the record. This will lock the record from other users attempting to make changes and allow you to begin the Q/A process. You may also select Auto-Select Next which allows you to select the next available record awaiting Q/A.
You may generate a new list at any time by completing Steps 2 and 3.In the Review Household Match tab, select a student.
You may review the student's current record by selecting View Student.
You should refer to regulations by your District before proceeding with linking non-DC students with DC students.If the student can be verified as a sibling, click Link as DC Sibling.
In cases where multiple students appear with a difference in status with DC siblings, click Link All as DC Siblings and mark the household as reviewed in one step.
You may also select Mark as Reviewed, Mark as Needs Research, or Mark as Not Reviewed.
Records marked as Needs Research will appear at the bottom of the worklist awaiting further action.
If you would like to see the list of households that have already been reviewed, uncheck [Status] <> 'Reviewed at the bottom of the screen.
Enter a reason as to why the change is being made to the student's status. Then, click Ok.
Once the record has been updates, click Mark as Reviewed.
Complete the same steps for each household in the list.
