View/Edit Income Guidelines
The Income Guidelines page allows you to add or update the income guidelines used for the approval or denial of free and reduced meal applications. This information is used to calculate both the Customer Eligibility Status and the Application Status.
You only need to enter the Annual fields. WebSMARTT calculates the other fields. Remember that you must update these annually! To obtain new annual eligibility guidelines, check with the USDA for current information.
If you are upgrading from an earlier version of WebSMARTT, the program will not overwrite your current income guidelines. You will need to manually update these fields as appropriate, usually annually.
Do not process any applications until the income guidelines are set. Changing these fields once you have begun processing will not affect applications that have already been processed.

This column shows the number of children in a household, and it correlates to the amounts on the right that determine free and reduced meal eligibility. Make sure that the amounts entered on the right line up with the numbers in this column. This includes the For each add'l family member add row, which is used for households with more than 8 children.
