Allergen Definitions

The Allergen Definitions page allows you to define allergens. These allergens are used to track any allergen that the food vendor reports in any food item. Once defined, allergens can be assigned to items. This page also allows users to view, add, edit, and delete allergens.

Allergen Name
The Allergen Name link displays the name of the allergen. Clicking on Allergen Name header will sort the column from either ascending or descending. This will display the eight most common allergens. You can add more allergens if needed.

Description
The Description of each allergen is listed by specific item.

View Items
Selecting the View Items link will display all items containing a specific allergen.

Edit
Select the Edit button to add, edit, and delete allergen definitions.

X
The X button deletes the selected item.

Records per Page
The 'Show records per page' drop-down menu allows you the option to view 10, 25, 50, and 100 records per page.

Add
Select the Add Button to add a new allergen. You will be able to enter the allergen name and description.

Cancel
Select the Cancel button to erase all entries and return to the Item Management page.
