Substitution (Open Order)

The Substitution page allows you to substitute the original item in an order with another item.

Original Item ID
The Original Item ID displays the item ID originally associated with the order.

Substitute with:
Substitute with: is a blank field that allows you to enter the item ID to substitute for the original item ID.

Original Item ID: Conversion/Units
Original Item ID consists of two fields. The Conversion field is a blank field that allows you to enter the conversion quantity. The Units drop-down list allows you to select the unit of the original item ID.

Substituted Item: Conversion/Units
Substituted Item consists of two fields. The Conversion field is a blank field that allows you to enter the conversion quantity. The Units drop-down list allows you to select the unit of the original item ID.

Round Up
The Round Up radio button allows you to round up the values of the substituted items.

Round Down
The Round Down radio button allows you to round down the values of the substituted items.

Do Not Round
The Do Not Round radio button does not round up or down the values of the substituted items.

Reset
The Reset button resets all editable values to their default settings.

Cancel
The Cancel button terminates the request to substitute an item in the order and returns you back to the Order Details page.

Save
The Save button saves the substituted item in the order and returns you back to the Order Details page with the updated item.

Note: The substituted item must be on the same Master Purchase Order as the original item.
