- ED-16098 - Linking Sides to Entrees - Added functionality to link specific sides to an entrée
- ED-16100 - Duplicate Recipes on a Menu - Added functionality to add duplicate copies of a recipe to a menu. This will be especially useful when linking the same side dish to multiple entrees.
- ED-16110 - Flatten Menus on Menu Template - Added a ‘Flatten Menu’ button to the ‘Edit Menu Template Day’ screen. This button will flatten all menus on the day into the first reimbursable menu on the day, leaving just a single menu.
- ED-16144 - Ability to Test New Edison Versions in a Test Database - Added the ability to run a test database using a specific version of Edison instead of the current version. This will allow districts to test new versions without the need for a testing environment.

- ED-16099 - Prompt for Menu Count Type when running Weighted Nutrient Analysis - When displaying the report criteria for the Weighted Nutrient Analysis report, users will be prompted for menu count type.

Permission to mark an order incomplete

- ED-16121 - Auto Focus on Issuing Wizard - When transferring inventory between two sites, the Issue Inventory Wizard will now automatically focus on the ‘To Site’ field so that users can begin typing in the ‘To Site’ field without having to click in the field.
- ED-16130 - Site Permission for ‘Completing Order with Problems’ - Added permission, when completing an order, if there are problems on the worksheet, users without this permission will not be able to complete their order. They will receive an option for an override request.

- ED-10971 - Fixed a bug that was causing whatever permissions a user had in the live database to stick in the test database no matter what user they logged in as.
- ED-11046 - Fixed a bug when adding leftover planning as new planned recipe from production.

- ED-11021 - Predefined Comments - Users can select these predefined comments from a drop-down in the comment box for quicker comment entry. Users can also enter free text comments, or add additional comments to existing predefined comments. (Administration → Miscellaneous → Predefined Comments)

ED-11358 - Date Restriction on Editing Orders - Added a Site Setting for ‘Grace Period Prior to Delivery Date to Edit Orders’. This setting determines the # of days prior to delivery date that users can edit orders, including users without the ‘Edit Order’ Permission. Those with the ‘Edit Order’ Permission can edit orders before and after this grace period.
Entering a 0 in this field will disable this feature – and only users with ‘Edit Order’ permission can edit orders.
ED-11423 & 14891 - Order Send Methods - Added the ability to email directly out of Edison & Upload to FTP site directly out of Edison – no need for scheduled jobs to email or upload to FTP. Utilizes the Edison Plugin for FTP orders: WinSCPOrderSender. This will allow creating multiple methods to send orders and all methods are saved.
Relocated Vendor export settings from Site Settings to Administration → Ordering & Price Contracts → Order Send Methods
ED-11812 - Save & Recall Weighted Nutrient Analysis Report - Users can generate new Nutrient Analysis Reports here, from the Reports Menu, or from the menu template. Any saved Nutrient Analysis Reports can be accessed from the Utilities tab. (Utilities → Nutrient Analysis → Nutrient Analysis)
- ED-11815 - Import Menu Templates from a Test Database - Added an option to Import Menu Templates from a test database – users can create menu templates in a test database for testing purposes and then import changes to the menu template into the live database. (Administration → Recipes & Menus → Menu Templates → Import/Export)
- ED-12097 - Display Open Dates on Main Screen - Open dates will now display on bottom left of main screen in comma separated list when a site is selected
- ED-12131 - Attachments in Item Maintenance - Added a tab to Item Maintenance for attachments – users can attach images, .pdfs, notes, .txt docs & files to the item

- ED-12382 - Ad Hoc Menu Planning - When menus are added to the menu template, a copy is made of the original menu and added to the day on the menu template. This copy of the menu is no longer linked to the menu in Menu Maintenance and any changes made to the menu will not be reflected on the template. Any changes made to the menu on the template will not affect the original menu, or past or future uses of that menu. (Administration → Recipes & Menus → Menu Templates → Edit Template → Edit Day)
- ED-12446 - Ability for Warehouses to Order Based Off of Meal Planning at Sites - Added a new ordering option: “Items needed for predicted orders from all sites based on planned meals between” a given date range. This new feature allows the warehouse to anticipate what the sites will order based off of Meal Planning and Internal Order Lists. This ordering functionality does not take into account inventory on hand or encumbered inventory. It does take into account existing orders for that date range. (Select Site Warehouse → Home → Order → Create New Order)
- ED-12451 - Line Item Discounts on Bid Requests - Users can generate various item discounts to apply to Bids. These discounts can be added when entering in bid quotes. (Administration → Miscellaneous → Bid Item Discount Maintenance)
- ED-12959 - Permission to Close a Day with Unproduced Recipes - Site setting located under ‘Operations’ – ‘Close day with unproduced recipes’ - Users without this permission will be warned that unproduced recipes exist and can request an override. (Administration → Permissions → Site Role Permissions)
- ED-12961 - Temperature Entry in Manufacturing - Users can now add temperature logs to manufacturing records.
ED-12969 - Daily Alerts - Added the ability to add notes to days on the menu template that display in Meal Planning & Production (Administration → Recipes & Menus → Menu Templates → Edit Template → Edit Daily Alert)
ED-13035 - Ability to Produce Menus Individually - Added a site setting to “Produce Menus Separately” - Turning this option on will not combine menu items in production. For example, if you have 2 menus for the day and both have 100 milks planned, the milk recipes will need to be produced separately, 100 and 100. If this setting is unchecked, the milk recipes will be combined from both menus and can be produced together 200 milks at one time. (Administration → Permissions → Site Permissions → Production → Produce Menus Separately)
ED-13129 - Mass Update Vendor Orders - Users can now add, remove and substitute items from vendor orders via the bulk change option prior to sending orders to the vendor
Wizard will walk users through the update process. (Select Site: Warehouse → Home → Review & Approve Orders → Advanced → Bulk Change)- ED-13613 - Production Report Comments - Added a comment box for entering in comments that apply to the entire day’s production. The comment screen includes a checkbox to determine if the Production Comment should be included on the Production Report.
ED-14502 - Alert for Incomplete Orders - Added a site setting for ‘Check for Incomplete Orders at Shutdown’.
Warning to users upon close of program – does not prohibit users from closing
ED-14640 - Manufacturing Transfer Wizard - Users can now generate transfers directly from the Manufacturing Screen for manufactured items based on meal planning. If there is manufacturing based on orders, users will continue to use the ‘Fill Orders’ utility to transfer inventory.
From the ‘Transfer Manufactured Items’ utility, users can transfer a single item, multiple items or all manufactured items. Items with a quantity remaining to manufacture cannot be transferred.
- ED-14892 - Added Functionality to Import Vendor Bids - Vendors can use the xml export to generate bids that can be imported into Edison. (Utilities → Bid Analysis → Select Dairy → Export Bid RFP XML → Import Bid Quote XML)
ED-15040 - Ignore an Item During the Bid Process - When reviewing an All or Nothing Bid, users can ignore an item during the bid process.
ED-15675A - Create a Manufactured Item from a Manufactured Recipe - When creating a manufacturing recipe, once the recipe is complete, users can generate a manufactured item based off of the Manufactured Recipe. On the Yield & Serving Sizes tab in Recipe Maintenance, click the ‘plus sign’ button. This will prompt you to create a new item based off of the recipe. (Administration → Recipes & Menus → Recipes)
Clicking the ‘gear’ button next to the manufactured item on the Yield & Serving Sizes tab will open up the manufactured item in a new tab for users to view/edit.
Once the Manufacturing Recipe is linked to the Manufacturing item, any changes to the recipe will prompt users to update the manufactured item upon ‘save’.
- ED-15675B - Manufacturing Update to Item Maintenance - Added a column for Mfr’d by Recipe in Item Maintenance - When viewing/editing a Manufactured Item, the Advanced Button allows users to ‘Update from Manufacturing Recipe’ – this updates the item with any changes made to the manufacturing recipe. As well as ‘Edit Manufactured Recipe’ which opens up the manufactured recipe in a new tab. (Administration → Items & Catalog Numbers → Items)
- ED-15710 - Menu Template Tracking Log Report - Added a report to display changes to selected menu template (Administration → Recipes & Menus → Menu Templates → Print → Menu Template Tracking Log)
- ED-15723 - Users can also create menus on the fly directly in Menu Template Maintenance and those menus will be added to Menu Maintenance
ED-15742 - Approve more than one Ordering Group at a time - Added the ability to select which ordering groups to approve at the same time. (Utilities → Ordering → Review & Approve Orders)
- ED-16034 - Manufacturing a Recipe Within a Recipe - Added support for manufacturing items needed for manufacturing recipes. Previously the program only prompted users to manufacture the final product, now it will prompt to manufacture all manufactured ingredients required to create the final product.
Drag & Drop Menus & Recipes onto the Menu Template – additional search functionality to search menus by menu category or description and recipe search to filter by Menu Item Type and/or Food Contributions

- ED-11495 - Show All Items Needed for Meal Planning - When placing an order, all items needed for meal planning will display even if zero quantity needs to be ordered. Items with zero quantity needed will be highlighted in red.
- ED-11649 - Allergen Information in Recipe Maintenance - Added a tab to Recipe Maintenance for ‘Allergens’ – this list of allergens will update as items are added to the recipe or as allergens are added to items on the recipe. (Administration → Recipes & Menus → Recipes)

- ED-15471 - Produce Zero (0) Quantity of an Item in Production - The program will now allow users to enter 0 into the production quantity and all items produced with 0 quantity will display on the production record. If a user does not want the item to display on the production record, they will need to delete the item from production.
- ED-15472 - Permission not to Change Delivery Date when Ordering - This will restrict users from changing the delivery date when generating an order. (Administration → Permissions → Site Permissions → Ordering → ‘Edit delivery date on an order’)
- ED-15480 - CN20 Database Update - Upgraded to the CN20 Database.
- ED-15631 - No Service Day Categories - Added 2 new options – Inclement Weather (No Service Day) & Special Event (No Service Day). The no service day images will print on the menu template calendar.
- ED-15635 - Display all Menu Count Types on Meal Counts Screen - All Meal Count Types will now display on Meal Counts screen even when there were no planned meals for those counts. This functionality now allows adding counts to meal count types from production rather than going back to Menu Planning and adding counts there. Counts entered in here will be reflected in meal planning.
- ED-15636 - The Production Wizard now displays the full description on title bar.
ED-15640 - Users can merge multiple menus into a single menu. Merging menus is beneficial when a menu cannot be deleted because it is in use, but it can be merged into another menu.
Merging menus will only change the menu # and description on the menu template, it will not change the recipes on the menu.
- ED-15674 - Close Consistency on Production Tab - Added an ‘OK’ button that saves changes and closes the production tab.
- ED-15711 - Menu Maintenance Update - Added the ability to inactivate menus and add a meal type in Menu Maintenance.
- ED-15726 - When editing a day on the menu template, the edit day screen stays in the same tab as the calendar.
- ED-15743 - View Worksheet Button Flashes on Approval Screen - The View Order Worksheet button will blink on the review order screen if it has problems.

Updates to Manufacturing Detail Report - Manufacturing Detail Report has been updated with details regarding meal planning by site and issuing details
Ability to Print Incomplete Orders - Added the ability to print the ‘Order Details’ report for incomplete orders. Orders must be saved in order to print the report.
