Sync Configuration
From the main WebSMARTT screen, make sure your current site is set to the central office and click the Admin tab. To configure Sync, click Sync Configuration.
On this screen, you can configure the Web server URLs for each WebSMARTT server. The program will automatically pull in the server and database names. By default, Sync is configured to use Windows authentication. If you are using SQL authentication, de-select the Use Windows Authentication? option and enter the username and password for that server. These will default to the settings in the DBConn table; if you would prefer to use another username and password, enter them and click Save.
When you have configured the central office, click Add to enter the WebSMARTT URLs. A blank URL will appear. Type the URL in the field and click Save.
After the URL appears in the list, click Test to validate that the link works. If it does, you should see the WebSMARTT login screen. If it does not, click Edit to change the link.
Note: If you change a URL, any sites assigned to the old URL will automatically update with the new URL. If a URL is not being used by any sites, click the red X to delete the URL. This option is not available if any sites are using that URL.
After configuring all of your central office connection information and WebSMARTT URLs, you are ready to configure sites for synchronization. This is not available until the CO and URLs are set up.
To move on to the next step in setting up Sync, click the Admin breadcrumb and select Sync Site Manager.
