Best Practice: We suggest using the quadrants to group similar items together. Such as placing all your drink items together in the upper right hand corner of the keyboard.
- From the WebSMARTT Home page, select Point of Sale.
- Select Keyboard Management. The Keyboard Select page opens.
- Click Add. The Keyboard Update page opens.
- Enter a Description for your keyboard. You can enter how the keyboard will be used, bulk entry, high school breakfast, etc.
- TAB to the ID# Field and enter an identification number for the keyboard.
- Select food item from the list on the left hand side of the screen and then click on a key in one of the groups of keys, where you want the item to show on the keyboard.
- Repeat Step 5 and 6 for all the items to be listed on the keyboard.
- Use the quadrants to organize and group your keys.
- Use the Long Description button to receive more information about a particular item.
- If you make a mistake, click Clear Item From, and then select the unwanted key. Then click OK to confirm you want to remove the item from the key.
- Click Apply to save your entries. The Changes Applied page will open.
- Click Continue. The Keyboard Select page displays the newly created keyboard in the list of existing keyboards.
