Newton 12.3 Release Notes

The goal of this release was to add the Operating System and .NET Framework version of Newton POS terminals to the Outdated Workstations report.

Added Recap and Reconciliation Report to Report Layout Overrides

Admin & Maintenance | Advanced Setup | Report Layout Overrides

The Recap and Reconciliation Report is now available as a Report Layout Override.

Resolved an issue that required MCS Cloud users to excessively complete multi-factor authentication.

Added Operating Date to Permission Override Requests

Central Office | Release Override Requests

A new field has been added to permission override requests that displays the operating date that is being opened.

Added Operating Date to Permission Override Requests Report

Reports & Letters | Central Office | Permission Override Requests Report

A new field has been added to the Permission Override Requests Report that shows the operating date in the request.

Match Results added to Income and Expense Imports

Admin & Maintenance | Advanced Setup | Income and Expense Importers

A new screen was added to Income and Expense imports which displays which records were matched.

Newton 12.3.1- January 14, 2021
The following fix was made since version 12.3.0.

Resolved an issue that prevented Newton from successfully loading on some machines.

Outdated Workstations Report
Reports & Letters | Central Office | Outdated Workstations Report

We updated the Outdated Workstations Report to include Newton POS cashier terminals and the report will now display the Operating System version.
