Fixes

  • Fixed a defect in Agent Monitor causing instability in the Agent, resulting in errors when running scheduled jobs and real-time payments.

    Note

    Agent Monitor should not be enabled and left to run in any version below Newton 9.0.11.


  • Fixed a defect in Transfer Money that caused unexpected behavior when attempting to transfer large amounts between customers. Limited transfer amount to 99999.99.
  • Fixed a defect in After-School Counts that allowed entering unrealistically large after school counts.

What do I need to do in order to ensure I have the correct versions with these security measures in place?
Simply login to AdminConsole and click Check the Web like you normally do when pulling upgrades.

Are there other security measures of which I should be aware?
We strongly recommend updating to .NET 4.5 Framework on computer running Windows 7 operating systems.

What else do I need to know?
Parents using MySchoolApps may be impacted by updates in security if they are running older browser versions on their computers which do not support TLS 1.1 and TLS 1.2 protocols.
