A process consists of a group of operational steps. There are nine operational steps that can be assigned to a process. Each operational step has two types of control measures that define the operational step: Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Critical Control Points (CCPs).

User-Defined Processes: These processes are created by the user, and they may be created when menu items fall outside the range of the default processes, e.g. you have an item that does not need to be cooked but requires additional operational steps beyond those assigned to the No Cook standard process.
Viewing a Process
To view a process, select HACCP on the WebSMARTT Home page. Then, under Setup/Reference, click Processes. The following screen opens:
On the Processes screen, you will see the standard processes as well as user-defined processes. Any user-defined processes may be edited or deleted.

Click the name of a process in the list. The Process Details screen opens for that process.
Process
This field displays the name of the process.
Operational Steps
This table shows operational steps that are associated with the selected process.
Name
On the Operational Steps table, the left column displays the name of each of the steps.
Description
On the Operational Steps table, the right column displays descriptions of each of the operational steps.
Cancel
The Cancel button returns you to the previous page.
