Release Override Requests

If a user role has been set to Deny a function and a user attempts to perform the denied task, the option of performing an override is available. If the user requests an override attempt, an administrator or additional high level role has the ability to accept or reject the override attempt. For more information on allowing and denying functions, refer to System Security in the Setup Guide section.

If permission has been denied, the user will receive the following message:

Your user account does not have sufficient privileges to perform the requested operation.  If you would like to request a permission override from your supervisor to enable you to perform this action, you can click the "Request Override" button below.

If you would like to request an override, click the Request Override button.

Enter a reason for requesting the override. Then, click Ok.
