Bulk Meal Issuing Worksheet

We have added a Bulk Meal Issuing Worksheet that allows Districts to determine how many days and meals are needed to record as well as hand-write Totals for Prepared, Served, Leftover, Damaged, and Employee meals. This option is intended to assist with Emergency Meals, Seamless Summer etc. where specific customer tracking in not necessary.

Enhancements

Deleted Inactive Students with Balances

Added improvements to the system to more elegantly handle the merging of students with balances who have returned to the District after being removed from DataCenter (upon the 2nd End of Year process where a student remains inactive).

MySchoolBucks Balance Transfer

Parents have the ability to transfer money between students in MySchoolBucks. You can see balance changes by time and date in the following reports:

Online Payments
(info) Note: You can also view balance transfers within MySchoolBucks using their Payments Report.

MySchoolBucks Support for designating funds for “Meals Only”

Districts now have the option in Newton MSB Setup to synchronize Meal Controls set in MySchoolBucks.
(info) Note: In MySchoolBucks, if the option to allow payments to be designated for Meals Only is selected, the Use Unallocated-Cash Only option should be disabled. If this setting is not disabled, payments will be placed in Newton's unallocated funds for a customer.

Misc School Counts Improvements

  • Misc School Counts Setup - Any Misc. School Count data that has been established and contains a non-zero value from a previous operating day may not be modified in the Misc School Count Maintenance screen with the exception of the Description.

  • Misc School Counts Posting - If a Misc School Count has been inactivated and non-zero counts exist, the description of the Misc School Counts shall in (inactive) in the posting screen. Additionally, the user is able to modify previously existing counts.

These changes are to maintain the integrity of the data and provide accurate reporting.

We have updated the Outdated Workstation Report to call out all machines that are recommended to be updated to .NET Framework 4.8.
