You will get a confirmation screen showing the menu plans that will be created when you publish.
Click Continue to create the menu plans or Cancel to go back and change your selections. If menu plans already exist for the days that you are publishing to, the confirmation will list menu plans that are being replaced. Menu plans that have had orders generated against them cannot be replaced. If holidays were created, menu plans will not be published for those dates
. 
The publishing screen displays the processing status. This screen can be navigated away from and back to as needed. Once completed, the status is displayed in the history at the bottom of the page. If you expand the date range, it will show you any publishing history that has been done within that date range.
