Overview

The overall goal of this training guide is to make you, the Trainer, feel stronger, smarter, more powerful and look good. In the event that these goals are not accomplished, hopefully we can, at a minimum, provide guidance that will demonstrate how to guide one or more employees in the use of Edison - Menus and Inventory.

The expected audience of this guide are both MCS Support and District Personnel responsible for training end-users in the software.

This guide has been broken down into individual categories based on functional use of the system. The flow has been carefully thought out to not only demonstrate use, but to allow some topics to be addressed early in the learning process as they will be fundamentally useful throughout.

As with all aspects of MCS Software, feedback from those actually using our product provides us the best insight to develop the most informative, user friendly tools on the market. We would love to hear feedback, both good and bad, so we know what works and where we can improve moving forward. If viewing this document online, suggestions can be made by simply adding a comment at the bottom of the page you wish to reference or an idea can be submitted via our Idea Exchange in the MCS Software Customer Portal.
