I am unable to login to my prior-year database. How can I resolve this issue?


If you are receiving the following message, please perform the steps below.

Successfully connected to SQL Server; but, the database option 'IsSingleUser' is not 'off' as is expected.  You must perform a 'reset single user mode' operation before logging into WinFSIM.

Step 1: From the WinFSIM login screen, enter your username and password. Then, click on the Advanced button.
 




Step 2: Right-click on Server Utilities and select Connect Using Windows Auth.




Step 3: Click on Reset database single-user mode to FALSE.

 


Step 4: You will be notified once single-user mode has been reset. Click Ok

 

Step 5: Click the red X  icon to close the Server Utilities window. 


Step 6: Click Ok on the login screen.
