Viewing and Creating Food Safety Checklists

Food Safety Checklists are lists of steps taken to ensure that food is stored and prepared in a way that limits hazards. Food Safety Checklists are standard (predefined) and user-defined checklists that you can print, complete, and keep for your records. Standard Food Safety Checklists cannot be edited.

Viewing Food Safety Checklists

WebSMARTT provides an extensive list of standard Food Safety Checklists as well as the ability to create your own.

Click any Food Safety Checklist to view it in detail.

The Food Safety Checklist displays a list of steps. Use the Completed column to indicate whether a step has been fulfilled. If a step was not completed, use the Corrective Action field to explain what steps were taken to account for not completing the step. Below the list, you may find information on list, such as who is assigned to complete it, how current it is, and its intended schedule.

The detailed checklist may be printed and used for record keeping.
