Overview

 Transactions may become interrupted due to loss of network connectivity (internet/intranet dropping connection) or loss of power.

 

Step 1: From the Point-of-Sale tab, select Review Transactions.



Step 2: You will receive a message that there are batches in the offline network folder waiting to be retrieved. Click Yes to retrieve offline batches.


Step 3: The Retrieve Batch Results window will appear notifying you of the number of retrieved batches and the number of interrupted batches. Click Ok.


Step 4: Recover the interrupted batch.

In the Edit/Review POS Batches window, you will notice that the batches have pulled into the back office machine. If network connectivity or power was lost, the batch status will appear as Interrupted.

  • Select the interrupted batch.
  • With your mouse, right-click on the line and select Recover Interrupted Batch.
  • Repeat the process for additional interrupted batches.


Step 5: Once the interrupted batch has been recovered, the status will change to Awaiting Posting. Continue with normal posting procedures.
