Installing MCS Software on your system involves 3 steps: Downloading, Configuring and Installing. The downloading and installation procedure is the same for most software packages, excluding WinFSIM.

Step 2: Download the Franklin Installation File

Step 3: Install Franklin

If the Install file was Saved and not Run, double-click the file to install. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation process.

  • If a Security Warning appears, select Run.
     
  • Click Next on the Franklin Setup Wizard.
     
  • Click I Agree on the License Agreement window.
     
  • On the Franklin Setup window, select whether to install Microsoft .NET Framework (.NET Framework must be installed on your system for Franklin to function).
     
  • On the Installation Complete window, click Next.
     
  • On the Completing the Franklin Setup Wizard window, click Finish. Franklin is now installed.

  1. login with your user name and password.
  2. Click the SUPPORT link and select Downloads.
  3. Click VIEW MCS DOWNLOADS.
  4. Locate and click on the Franklin folder to open it.
  5. Select the Install xxx.exe file.
  6. Select Save to download the file to your system. Some browsers download files instead of giving you the option to save. (It is important to know where files are downloaded to on your computer.)

 Setup the Connection Method in the Admin Console

  1. Locate and open the MCS Admin Console by logging in with your user name and password.

  1. Locate where you have downloaded the file and double-click on the downloaded Install xxx.exe.file.

  2. A Security Warning may appear to establish if you wish to run the software. Select Run.

  3. A setup window will appear. Click Next to begin running the setup process.

  4. You will then see a license agreement. Please read the statement and click I Agree if you accept the terms of the software license.

  5. XP users may have to download .NET Framework on their system (service pack 4.0). 
    The redistributable version of .NET can be downloaded on a separate machine and installed separately if needed.

  6. Once the installation is complete, click Next.

  7. The Completing the Franklin Setup Wizard window will appear. Click Finish to exit out of the setup wizard. Franklin is now installed.
