The Synchronize option allows you to synchronize changes between Franklin and DataCenter, connect to older databases, upload schools, and import applications from MySchoolApps.




 From the Utilities tab, locate Synchronize in the ribbon.

  2. Select the appropriate action.

Performs a quick synchronization of minor changes between DataCenter and Franklin.

  1. Click on Datacenter and select Quick Sync.
  2. You will see a series of processes as synchronization is competed.

Performs a full synchronization between synchronization between Datacenter and Franklin looking at all student records and updating information.

  1. Click on Datacenter and select Full select Sync.

Change attachment allows you to attach to the prior Datacenter database.

Please contact Support prior to performing this function.

  1. Click on Datacenter and select Change Attachment.
  2. Select a Datacenter database in which to connect. Then, click Ok.

  3. Complete authorization functions.

    Support authorization is required prior to completing this task.


    1. Submit Request - Allows you or a Support staff member to submit the request for higher-level approval.

      1. Click Submit Request.

      2. Enter a comment stating the reason Datacenter attachment is necessary. Then, click Ok.

    2. Manual Approval - Allows you or Support to enter a code manually once higher-level approval has been authorized.

      1. Click Manual Approval.

      2. Enter the code provided by Support. Then, click Ok.

Online Applications

Online Applications gives you the ability to upload schools to your online application account and manually import applications. Imports are typically updated through Scheduled Jobs.

If you would like to import applications manually such as in cases where the scheduled job has failed, follow the steps below.

  1. From the Utilities tab, select Online Applications.
  2. Select Import Applications.
  3. You will see a series of processes as synchronization is competedcompleted.

In order for schools to appear in your MySchoolApps account, you will need to upload schools.

  1. From the Utilities tab, select Online Applications.
  2. Select Upload Schools.
