Installing MCS Software on your system involves 3 steps:

 

  • Downloading the software from the MCS Customer portal.

  • Configuring the Software in Admin Console.

  • Installing the software on your system.

    The Downloading and Installation procedure is the same for all software packages. Franklin is used as the example software. Simply substitute the software package you are installing for Franklin.

To begin the installation process, you must have the MCS Admin Console and Application Server installed on your system. See the MCS Admin Console-Application Server Administration Guide for more information.

Software Downloading

Log in to the MCS Software Customer Portal

Step 1: Open the MCS Admin Console. 

Step 2: From the Applications menu, select the Connection Methods option.

Step 3: Select the software package being installed from the Application Name section then click Edit
Step 4: Enter the server connection information and click Ok

Software Installation

  

Step 1: Double-click on the downloaded Installxxx.exe.file.

Step 2: Select Run at the Security Warning.

Step 3: Click Next on the Setup Wizard.

Step 4: Click I Agree on the License Agreement window.

Step 5: XP users may have to download .NET Framework on their system (service pack 4.0). If internet access is not available on the installation machine, the redistributable version of .NET can be downloaded on a separate machine and installed separately.

 

Step 6: On the Installation Complete window, click Next.

Step 7: On the Completing the Franklin Setup Wizard window, click Finish. Franklin is now installed.

Upgrade Errors

 

  
If an Upgrade Error occurs when launching the software, verify the program has been included in the Application Upgrade section of the Admin Console. See the MCS Admin Console-Application Server Administration Guide for more information. Image Added
