Only the most recent three versions of SQL Server are supported at any time. Once a newer version becomes available, support will be dropped for the oldest version.

Only the most recent service packs are supported. If Microsoft® releases a new service pack, it is the responsibility of the District to upgrade. Software enhancement will not be made to work around Microsoft® bugs.

The following SQL Servers are supported:

  • SQL Server 2012
  • SQL Server 2014
  • SQL Server 2016

*The MCS product line is tested on SQL Server 2014 & 2016. Any older supported versions, although not tested, will be supported as issues are identified. Newer versions will be supported as they are released.

Users may have to download .NET Framework on their system. The redistributable version of .NET can be downloaded on a separate machine and installed separately if needed.
