Software upgrades are released periodically. Upgrades are not automatically run due to varying lengths of time it may take. MCS highly recommends upgrades are run at the end of the day and everyone has logged out of the system. The following steps will take you through the upgrade process when you are ready to complete the processes. |

Upgrade via Admin Console

All upgrades must be performed on the server. |
If an upgrade is available, you will be notified in the bottom right-hand corner of the application.

From the server, locate and click Admin Console.
Enter your Username and Password. Then, click Ok.
From the Applications tab, select Upgrades.
If you would like to only run upgrades for a few applications,
uncheckdeselect the
boxcheckbox next to the application
by clicking in the box. Then, click
theCheck the Web
button.
Note: Notice the version of Newton prior to running the upgrade.
You will see a series of processes running as upgrades are pulled in.Click Close and exit Admin Console.
Note: Notice the version of Newton after running the upgrade.Log in to the application. You should see the Upgrade Available message is no longer showing and the version number has changed.

You also have the option of downloading and installing the upgrade file.
