The Daily Operations Guide is provided to take the user through the complete functions in Edison which includes meal planning, ordering, issuing, receiving, production, manufacturing, and completing physical inventory counts.

It may be necessary for you to select another site; however, this should not occur on a regular basis. 

Step 1: Click on the Edison icon in the top, left-hand corner of the screen. Then, choose Select Site.

Step 2: Select a site location. Then, click Ok.

 

Daily operations are completed by using the ribbon at the top of the screen or the Checklist to the left of the screen. Some checklist items are completed daily, weekly, or monthly. You should check with your supervisor for more information. 

Note

As system checklist tasks have been completes, a checkmark is placed in the box. Custom checklist tasks will need to be checked off by the user once complete.

 

Once a site has been selected, it will be noted at the bottom of the screen.

In order to complete any daily operations, a date must fist be opened.

Note

Dates appearing in red indicate the day has been closed. Dates appearing in green indicate the day is currently open. It is recommended that all daily tasks are completed and the day is closed prior to starting a new operating day.

On occasion, it may be necessary to reopen a past day in order to make corrections. This should not occur on a regular basis. In the situation where is occurs on a regular basis, the user should revisit the users manual.
